On the western coast of India (but not quite by the sea-side) lies a small village where my family roots lie and where, once upon a time, my grandfather owned some farm-lands and plenty of palms and mango trees.
On my recent visit to the village (that occurred almost 30 years after my previous visit there), I took some photos of the scenery in and around the village. The village appears to have lost some of its old charm, but is still fascinating enough for me.
The sub-pages of this page try to capture my nostalgia for a place where I spent some of my happiest vacations as a kid.
